BC (Brazil Center) is a shopping center on International drive that caters to visiting Brazilians. Due to their varied product lineup ( electronics, watches, sunglasses, perfume, and handbags) The branding had to be non specific while visually communicating “shopping” to an international audience. The idea of using a sale tag was briefly considered and then discarded to avoid comparisons with Best Buy. Any representations of money were also avoided as money can be considered a taboo subject to some international visitors. The shopping bag was the logical conclusion and I felt perfectly summed up the new, modern identity BC was searching for.
Custom icons were created to represent the different categories of products that BC has to offer. A patter was devised using these icons and is prevalent throughout BC’s marketing and collateral.
Print collateral was designed, including 16pt silk business cards with spot U.V. finish, Facebook cards for the POS and a bi-fold brochure for use by tour guides bringing groups overseas to Orlando.
A fully responsive e-commerce site was designed taking touch controls into constant account. Much thought was applied to the unique sorting system for BC’s more than 8000 products spread over several categories.
Moreno & Moreno LLC
Moreno & Moreno LLC is a home improvement company specializing in gutter installation. They had a logo they were happy with but needed help presenting it in a professional way.
The first step was to design a website with a unique UI that easily communicated Moreno’s full range of products and how they can benefit a customer’s home. To this end, I constructed a fully vector house mock up that could be reduced to outlines to showcase individual home additions and used it as the showpiece of the website and branding.
Brochures were created along with business cards and presentation folders. Together these print pieces were a massive improvement in the client’s brand presentation.
Print ads were created with simple, attention getting headlines and clean images.
The home graphic was re-purposed in various colors and situations for seasonal social campaigns.

Maguire Lassman Eminent Domain Attorneys
Maguire Lassman is a law firm that specializes in eminent domain law. The idea to use a chess piece to represent the brand came about when I started researching the origins of eminent domain. Most residents facing the threat of eminent domain, are looking for someone to help them fight back but rarely know where to turn. The knight was an appropriate symbol of protection and service. The fact that firm founder Raymer Maguire is avid chess player was an added bonus.
InterNETwork IT is a new IT company in Central Florida who wanted to stand apart from the normally stodgy world of business technology. I came to the realization early on in the project that most IT customers, aren’t interested in the technical side of the business, they just want the it “to work.” So the decision was made to stay away from anything overtly “technical”. A custom rounded font was created to give the brand a fun and lively feel. The IT part of the logo was placed in a three dimensional cube to create a connection with the modular “black box” that technology can represent to the layman. The logo can be separated and used as a standalone logo mark and still instantly communicate IT on employee shirts and stationary.
I adhered to the goal of making IT fun and approachable when it came time to develop the print collateral. I created colorful, simple vector icons to represent the various services interNETwork IT offers and incorporated a tongue in cheek image of a male model as an unofficial mascot. InterNETwork IT’s owners reported overwhelmingly positive feedback from their customers in regard to this direction.
